Author: hartlady
Mostly self-taught with a natural ability to draw at an early age. I lean toward realistic work and I pay attention to detail. I've worked with oil paints in the past, but mostly acrylics. Lately I am exploring watercolor and have done a few ink & watercolor paintings. My subject range is wide, including some custom portraits and pets.

NA 23
NA 23 Before doing this one, I was looking to do one with hot air balloons. To me, this looks like the inside of one.
NA 22
NA 22 I didn’t really have a plan for this one other than balancing the Zen patterns.
NA 21
NA 21 The focus on this one is my little sea horse. I used some doodles to represent life in a coral reef.
NA 20
NA 20 My idea was trees with leaves and fruit. Then I went opposite with colors. Another loosely painted watercolor.
NA 19
NA 19 I started with loose watercolor painting using four colors. Tried to balance the doodle patterns. I made one up in the double circle, and repeated it.
NA 18
NA 18 I chose colors opposite each other on a color wheel. Purple and yellow, and blue and orange, Went from there.
