Welcome to my site! My name is Denise, or hartlady. I am an artist, gifted at an early age to draw. My career choice was mechanical engineering. Inspired by Mike Brady, I went to a technical college for drafting and design. It provided me with a new skill set, including lettering. I worked with engineering firms for 30 years. I liked the board drawing part of those years. We moved to AutoCAD, a computerized program for drawing. I always liked producing esthetically nice drawings, even if it was of ductwork and mechanical rooms. My experience adds to what I do today.
My first paintings were done in oils. I’ve given many away as gifts. Most of my work has been with acrylics. I’ve done some watercolor in the past and am lately returning to it for fun.
